You’re invited to attend a vigil in support of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, hosted by the Official Opposition. This event will take place at Queen’s Park (South Lawn) on Monday November 25 at 6:00 PM with remarks at 6:30PM sharp.
This ceremony will feature remarks from the Opposition Leader, Marit Stiles, MPP Lisa Gretzky, and Marissa Kokkoros, Executive Director – Aura Freedom - an advocate on the critical issues of gender-based violence and human trafficking.
Ontario band, Aruna & the Sirens, will perform “Have You Seen My Sister?” nominated Single of the Year by the Canadian Folk Music Awards (2024).
After the outdoor vigil, guests are invited to warm up with tea and coffee in Boardroom 351as we continue to reflect and engage in meaningful conversations around these important issues.
We hope you can join us as we stand together to raise awareness and show solidarity during this important time.
